Edwin is a 21 year old filmmaker based in Brisbane, with a burning passion for deep and impactful storytelling. He has a belief that in cinema we have an obligation to highlight issues in society through the art of story and impactful characters. Growing up in Brisbane with his Australian and Samoan heritage, Edwin wants to connect with the audience through the shared human experiences in life.

 

Edwin will graduate in 2025 with a Bachelor of Film and Television from Griffith University. As a director, writer, he has collaborated on many projects and a feature as a cowriter and is about to have his director, writer debut in the short film: ‘Astray’. He is currently in the writing of some future feature films.
